Why nutrition isn't 'one size fits all'

If you closely follow some of the magazines, blogs, and Facebook posts of reputable companies like we do, you'll find a tremendous amount of helpful advice, tips, and clarifications for questions. Whether it's about healthier ways to eat, portion control, information about processed foods, ways to help improve your skin, your sleep habits or energy levels - the resources are in abundance.

Even in small nuggets - which we love to pass along to our Dynamic You Fitness clients and blog followers - specific information about things such as the most ideal healing foods for the body  can cause confusion and frustration.

Garlic, for instance, is known for having many benefits. Some may even surprise you!
But too much garlic for some, or even the smallest amount for those with sensitive GI tracks, and you may find the benefits do not outweigh the costs.

So it's important, when you're looking for advice for something, you sort through all the information - but without going crazy. Be sure to ask your doctor, a nutritionalist or registered dietician what might work best for your body. Because while "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" for some, it could send others directly to the front door of their local health clinic.
