It's just days away...time to start planning for your holiday weekend!
A tradition that began in 1904 with the arrival of the first electric passenger train linking the area with Long Beach and Los Angeles continues today in Huntington Beach. Every Fourth of July this celebration attracts more than 50,000 to the beach for a parade and fireworks!
This year's parade - Surf, Sun & Celebration - kicks off at 10 am on Thursday July 4th and continues until 12 pm. Tickets for Lake Park Bleacher Seating can be pre-purchased for $15 or for $20 on the day of the parade.
But there's way more happening than just a parade. Make time to check out the four day Pier Plaza Festival which will also include food vendors, a 5k Run, live entertainment, family activities and fireworks (on July 4th at 9 pm.)
