Higher temperatures (should) mean you're drinking even more water

Rumor has it we're getting some summer heat today!

So besides positioning yourself directly in front of cold air and letting your ears fly

we suggest you grab your glass, bottle, cup, mug - whatever you'd like - and fill it up with water.

Lots of it.
It's so important to stay hydrated on any day, but it's especially crucial on days when the temperature soars.  Fluid losses occur continuously, including skin evaporation (i.e. sweating) and on especially hot days it happens more frequently. When your water intake does not equal the amount your body is releasing, you can become dehydrated. Of course there are a lot of other really good reasons for staying hydrated as well.
The good news is there are a variety of ways to be sure you're getting the proper amount each day, including picking fruits with high water content.

And just in case you needed any more information about what water does to benefit your entire body, and why it's so good for you...
